| Goldeye Explorations Limited holds a 100% interest in a 175 claim-unit block covering 17.5 km2 in Tyrrell, McMurchy, and Leonard Townships. In addition, Goldeye acquired a 50% interest in the GRT project in 1998. This area consists of 134 claim units located to the east of the Tyrrell property. |

A major gold-bearing deformation zone (or break) crossing the property was discovered in 1995. This deformation zone, called the Tyrrell Structural Zone or Tyrrell Shear Zone (TSZ) contains mineralization and alteration similar to the Porcupine gold camp (near Timmins) and Larder Lake gold camp (near Kirkland Lake), located approximately 100 kilometres to the north and northeast respectively. (See location map.)
Geophysical data and drill results indicate that the TSZ extends for 2.7 kilometres across the Tyrrell property. Significant gold showings to the east of the Tyrrell property, including on the Juby property, indicate that the TSZ extends beyond the property limits to the southeast, onto the optioned GRT claims.
Two major gold-bearing zones have been discovered along the TSZ on the Tyrrell property (see property map). The first, the Goldeye Zone (formerly Goldeye-LaCarte Zone), is located at the north end of the property. Assays indicate that this zone contains near-economic grade gold mineralization.
The second major gold-bearing zone is the Big Dome Zone, discovered in 1998. Assays indicate that this zone also contains near-economic grade gold mineralization. The Big Dome Zone is located approximately 1.8 km to the southeast of the Goldeye Zone, and is of a very similar lithology.
This indicates that gold mineralization is associated with the TSZ. Additional deposits may be located along its strike length.
Other gold showings throughout the Tyrrell property which are not associated with the TSZ indicate that gold mineralization is widespread on the property.
In addition, an electromagnetic conductor in the southern poart of the property has the chracteristics of a kimberlite, and is located on the flank of a diabase dyke. This suggests the possibility of the presence of diamonds on the property.
Access to the property is good. Several logging roads cross it, and highway 560 passes less than two kilometres to the north. A power line also runs through the property. This existing infrastructure promises to keep costs low in the development of any gold deposits.
A technical report (Aug. 1997) details the geology and drill results on the Tyrrell property prior to Goldeye's drill programs of the past two years.
