Goldeye And Temex Make Two New Gold Discoveries On Joint Venture Grounds In Tyrrell Township Northeastern Ontario

Goldeye Explorations Limited (TSX Venture Exchange: GGY) and Temex Resources Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: TME) have made a new gold discovery. Drill hole JU-04-64 (164E/93+50E) returned 29.85m grading 0.89 g/t gold within which subintervals yielded 2.2 meters grading 3.24 g/t gold including 1.11 meters grading 5.85g/t Au and a separate interval which yielded 5.18 g/t Au over 1.71 meters including 6.96 g/t Au over 0.92 meters. The broader zone of gold mineralization straddles the contact between a previously unrecognized sequence of metasediments in contact with mafic metavolcanics. The hole targeted a 400m long Spectral IP chargeability anomaly and the new gold zone is open in all directions.

Hole JU-04-64 was one of 12 drill holes totaling 2150 m drilled on the Juby JV Project that is a 50/50 Joint Venture with Goldeye Explorations Ltd.

Another new gold zone was discovered on the Tyrrell Shear Zone in hole JU04-57 (21W/2+38N) with 29.53 meters grading 1.19g/t Au including a higher grade zone which yielded 4.77 g/t Au over 4.91 meters.

The Juby B Zone has been extended onto the joint venture ground with five holes testing the zone: Hole JU-04-59 (164E/92+35E) reporting 4.55meters grading 2.23 g/t Au including a sub-interval which yielded 1.15 meters grading 6.76 g/t Au and hole JU-04-62 (165E/92+35E) yielding 23.13 metres grading 0.53 g/t Au. The gold mineralization is associated with a hematite-pyrite shear zone hosted within mafic metavolcanic rocks.

The three gold zones on the joint venture ground further demonstrate the widespread significant gold mineralization along the Tyrrell Shear Zone in Tyrrell Township.

Significant mineralization zones occur on the Goldeye 100% owned property:

Five shoots have been defined at Hydro Creek. The main shoots are: 1) LaCarte North H-03-06 which intersected 9.2m of 7.2 g/t Au and 2) LaCarte Main Zone where hole H-23 grades 6.5m of 6.42 g/t Au. Hole G-98-09 intersected 1.4m of 149 g/t Au 1.5 km to the south of Hydro Creek on the BIG DOME

A new Spectral IP target has been identified 800m east of the Big Dome on the Tyrrell Shear Zone.

Two isolated drill hole intersections represent high priority targets. On the north-west side of the Big Dome drill hole G-98-12 intersected 3 g/t / 3.2m. Between Cripple Lake and Breeze lake 1km northeast of the Big Dome, Battle Mountain Drill hole T-97-03 intersected 4.5m of 2.5 g/t Au including 10.45 g/t Au over 1m. Goldeye intends to drill bracket and undercut holes on these two targets this year.

The Tyrrell Shear Zone extends from Hydro Creek 8 km to the Southeast to the Juby deposit. Exploration conducted since 1990 on the Goldeye and Temex properties has revealed lithologies similar to those in the major gold camps of Timmins and Kirkland Lake. Significant gold mineralization has been found in these very favourable rocks. Since 1990 Goldeye has drilled 81 holes on the Tyrrell property.

Goldeye and Temex intend to continue their aggressive exploration program on their jointly owned ground as well as on their independently owned properties

Other significant gold deposits in Tyrrell township include: Tyranite deposit, Juby deposit, Minto deposit, and the Golden Sylvia.

In other news, Goldeye will commence construction of an access road in Chile to the Sonia Vein that assayed 5m of 7.75 g/t Au and 218 g/t Ag. The road will be used for geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys scheduled to commence in September.
