Goldeye Exploration Limited has arranged a $250,000 private placement of 1.01 million units consisting of one share plus one three year warrant; 960,000 of the Warrants entitle the holder to acquire shares at $0.30 each, and 50,000 of the Warrants entitle holder to acquire shares at $0.25 each.
The funds will be used for a 1,500 meter drill program and a drill hole SPECTRAL IP logging survey on Goldeye's Tyrrell property located in the Gowganda area of northeastern Ontario. The holes will test the Goldeye Gold zone, undercut the Hare Lake occurrence (3.3 meters of 7 gm/t gold) and test the eastern extension of the Tyrrell Shear Zone. One and a half kilometers to the southeast of the Goldeye Zone the Tyrrell Shear Zone intersects a dome-shaped magnetic high with flanking resistivity highs. Spectral IP anomalies within the deformation zone will be tested where the TSZ is close to the dome. The drill program is scheduled to commence on July 20, 1998.
